On top of the two battery-saving techniques, the HE508T-GR X2 reflex sight features a 50,000-hour battery life on setting 6 with the CR1632 battery. This model features a green illuminated reticle that can be switched between a 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or a circle dot configuration. This is probably the best RMR pattern duty style open sight on the market for the money. I have always had great luck with Holosun products, and you will be very happy with your purchase! It has a better feature set than the similarly sized Vortex and Trijicon offerings, and it's a fraction of the price of the Trijicon. Being titanium gives it the edge over the RMR, as the RMR is aluminum, has only a single reticle option, and a smaller window.
